'Peeled and sliced' is superfluous, perhaps?

Foul, ruinous crap that must be removed from anything it’s likely to have touched.

Hate the stuff. Won't even eat food it has touched. You can add courgette and Marrow to that vile list as well. Food from an extraterrestrials arse

Our dog likes it. Mind you, he also likes cabbage, lettuce, carrot and apple. The world's first vegetarian dog.

I'm currently drinking Cucumber water - slice up 1/3 of a peeled Cucumber, slice it and leave in a jug overnight - very refreshing and anti-oxidant

Not tried them Irons. With jars I prefer sweet picked.
Try a New Green if you can find them? Only Usually available in Jewish Delis. Pickled in Garlic amongst other stuff. Very fresh and fresh tasting, no preservatives like the Jars. Taste nothing like one from a jar.
